    Sleek and Comfortable Summer Footwear Option

    I purchased the crossover slide as another option to add to my footwear collection going in to warmer weather as I already had Birkenstocks so wanted to have a slightly elevated look whilst still comfortable. Something I could wear with linen pants as well as shorts for an elevated but comfortable summer look.

    Good, not great

    I’ve owned these for about 6 months and they look nice, a dressy alternative to thongs for sure. But they age really poorly. Leather usually develops a nice patina over time, but the black finish is looking terrible on mine. I only wear them occasionally, so they haven’t been worn extensively. But overall impression is disappointment. I’ve owned a lot of items from Assembly, and everything so far has been amazing quality, but these feel like a letdown
