This trench-styled jacket has excellent seaming and construction, suitable for women who are seeking a versatile and forever-keep piece at a reasonable price. The inner lining of the jacket is cotton for the body, and a shiny viscose for the inner lining of the sleeves - a very welcomed change from the usual cheap polyester, nylon or rayon lining I've found in other brands, that makes me sweat profusely. This lining has allowed me to try on the jacket comfortably in the summer heat.
A hook closure at the top of the neck, sleeve loops, storm shield, and exaggerated epaulettes and collar make the jacket a little exciting and help proportion it on my frame. I don't think it's garbadine cotton, so not water resistant, but I didn't buy it for that purpose. I'm 164cm in height and I found the arm and body length perfect to cover me past the hip bone. For taller women, it would make a cute crop jacket.
I'm most impressed to find quality natural fabrics returning, and Assembly Label hit the nail with this jacket. I might add an extra button and loop on the top collar section in future, maybe a belt, but im very happy with this jacket.
