Online Returns
To start a return or exchange, click here.
- We accept returns, exchanges, or store credit on full-priced items within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unworn, unwashed, and returned with tags attached.
- For exchanges, simply lodge your return via our online returns portal above and follow the prompts. Please note that stock will not be held for exchanges, and all exchange orders will be sent with standard shipping. Exchanges must adhere to all full-priced return conditions.
- Refunds to the original payment method incur a flat $15 return shipping fee, deducted from your refund. Exchanges or store credit include free return shipping.
- Please allow 2–5 business days for our team to process your return or exchange once received.
- Please review our returns policy before initiating your return.
Sale Returns
- ‘Sale’ items are eligible for store credit or size exchange only. Credit note returns will incur a $15 return fee. Size exchanges are complimentary. Sale returns are only available online or in our Surplus stores.
- ‘Final Sale’ items are not eligible for a refund, credit note, or exchange unless deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law. ‘Final Sale’ items will be clearly identified on the collection page, product page, at checkout, and in your order confirmation email.
Return Conditions
- Re-Worn: All products marked ‘Re-Worn’ are final sale and are not eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit unless faulty.
- Swimwear: Must be tried on over undergarments. Returns are only accepted if tags and hygiene stickers are intact.
- Earrings: Earrings cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene reasons.
- Furniture: Returns of The Ease Chair incur an $80 return shipping fee, deducted once the item is received and inspected.
- Sample Items: All sample items purchased from our surplus stores are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund. As these pieces are provided at a pre-production stage, they are not considered final products and therefore cannot be assessed as faulty.

Returning Online Orders In Store
If you would prefer to return your item in your local Assembly Label store, please ensure your return adheres to our Returns Policy above. Our stores can offer refunds (only to the same card the original purchase was made on), exchanges, or credit notes for online full-priced orders. All items marked as ‘Sale’ must be returned online or to one of our surplus stores only. 'Final Sale' items are not eligible to be returned.
Returning Online Orders Made In Store
If you purchase an order in store that is then sent to you from our online distribution centre or another store, please note that these orders can only be returned in store and cannot be returned online.
