We accept all old Assembly Label garments. Pre-loved Assembly Label items can be returned to any of our stores or online in just a few easy steps. Customers in New Zealand will be able to return pre-loved clothes in store, however they will not be able to contribute through the online process. Contributed items will be inspected, laundered, and if necessary, repaired. If they are in a suitable condition, they’ll become part of a Re-Worn capsule collection. Items not deemed suitable will be recycled by our Australian-owned recycling partner.
No. Pre-loved Assembly Label items can be returned to any of our retail stores, as well as through our easy online contribution process. Customers in New Zealand can return pre-loved clothing to any store, however the online contribution process will not be available in New Zealand.
For a limited time, we’re offering a one-off gift when you contribute pre-loved Assembly Label items to Re-Worn. To thank you for your contribution, you’ll receive 10% off your next Assembly Label purchase. This gift can only be redeemed once and applies to your first Re-Worn contribution. Subsequent contributions will not be eligible for this gift. Our greatest incentive is to support a circular economy. Offer available from 14th April, 2022 to 15th May, 2022.
Once your pre-loved items have been received back at our warehouse and inspected by our team, we will issue you your 10% discount code via email within 5 business days. This code can be used online at or in any of our stores, and is valid for 60 days. If you are returning in store, you will recieve your 10% discount code via email at the time of your return.
All items purchased from the Re-Worn collection will be final sale items. These will not be able to be returned, however they can be re-contributed through the Re-Worn program to extend their lifecycle.
At Assembly Label we are proud to offer a repair service through all our retail stores. If you lose a button, have a loose thread or a pulled seam, we will gladly have this professionally mended free of charge.
All sales made from our Re-Worn initiative cover the cost of providing this service toward sustaining a more circular economy. Some of these costs include freight, dry cleaning, repair and wages.
